Meet this dog named Puka and her friend Rocket Larry.
Larry was accepted into the family in 2009, when his previous owners abandoned him. Larry is the African Sulcata tortoise, which can reach a weight of 100 kg.
Two years later Larry’s owners found a homeless man at the bus stop, who had a small puppy in a bow tie. The man admitted that he was not able to care for the puppy and offered the passers-by to take him.
Thus this family got its fourth member.
Puka is a mixed breed dog that was born with a wolf mouth. Very often dogs with this pathology live only for a short time, but Puka got adapted to live like that and now she fascinates the world with its appearance.
It was love at first sight. Puka instantly found the best friend in Larry, and the turtle was never against such friendship.
Almost immediately they began to sleep together, and today, after a few years, they do not change their habits.
Even in the daytime they like spending time with each other, basking in the sun and exchanging delicious treats.
Puka loves to lick Larry’s shell.
When Larry escapes somewhere and the owners can’t find her, they tell Puka “find Larry,” and the dog finds his best friend in a matter of seconds.
In the wild they would never have found each other, but in a good family environment, they really realized what that means to have a friend.
