This Student Bought A Pair Of Sneakers On EBay And Discovered An Unexpected Find In One Of Them. Then Something Very Interesting Happened

Ella Gilman is a 19-year-old student from Manchester, England. The girl bought a pair of sneakers on eBay. When the sneakers were delivered, Ella decided to try them on. However, in one of them, instead of plain paper, protecting her shoes from bending, she found an envelope with a large sum of money – a thousand pounds sterling. Without hesitation, Ella contacted the seller and reported the find.

It turned out that the former owner of the shoes, Laura Hazeldin from Brighton, hid the envelope in sneakers to protect the money from theft, but then she forgot about it.

Ella Gilman sent the money back and in half an hour Laura already received it. The seller was
extremely touched by honesty of that British girl. Laura admits that this buyer returned her her faith in humanity.

To thank the customer, Laura returned her the cost of the sneakers on eBay, and also gave her coupons with good discounts.

“I do not think that there are many people who would really get in touch with me to tell, that they found in a thousand pounds sterling the sneakers. She even sent me a snapshot of the check from the bank.” – the seller has told.

In turn, Gilman does not think that she has done something amazing. In her opinion, this was a common thing, and conscience should prompt everyone to do so in such a situation. The girl admits that if she lost a large sum of money, she would be glad to get it back.
